Learn to surf on the pristine South Coast with Mollymook Beach Surf School. Based at beautiful Mollymook Beach and servicing the surrounding area, here you’ll find fantastic waves, uncrowded beaches and a relaxed country atmosphere.
Surf lessons
Private & group surfing lessons are designed to be friendly, safe and fun. Surfing lessons are a great activity for the whole family to enjoy. Mollymook Beach Surf School has programs to suit first time beginners through to advanced ‘rippers’. We cater to corporate social occasions, surf camps, birthday parties, progressive lessons and provide a unique surfing experience. Individuals and groups are welcome. All we require is that you can swim.
Instructors
Mollymook Beach Surf School instructors are fully qualified (Level 1 Surf Coaching, Surf Rescue Certificate and First Aid) fun, friendly and enjoy teaching surfing because they all love to surf themselves! Mollymook Beach Surf School and its instructors are fully licensed and insured.
All Equipment Supplied
The equipment we supply for your lesson is the best. High quality ‘Rip Curl’ wetsuits plus soft and safe ‘G-board’ surfboards will have you feeling comfortable in the water. Safe, soft and stable surfboards that are easy to balance, paddle and surf on for beginners. Full length wetsuits to protect from wind chill, the sun and rash. This same equipment is also for hire so you can put into practice what you have learnt straight away. All you need to bring is swimwear, towel, sunscreen and a drink.
Surf Safaris
Surf Safari’s are also available to take in the beauty of the area while learning to surf in idyllic secluded locations. All you need to do is jump on our bus for a day long adventure that could well be the highlight of your holiday. Bring your enthusiasm, and we’ll supply the rest.
Location
Most lessons are based at Mollymook Beach however depending on the best and safest conditions and your level of skill they may be held at any of the magnificent surf beaches in the nearby surrounding area. Surf Safaris can take you from Bendalong in the north to Durras in the south, a truly magical stretch of coastline. See Location page for more detail.
